Iranian Woman Wins 2025 COMSTECH Research Grant

In this context, Dr. Maria Bayhaqi, an Iranian researcher and CEO of a knowledge company in the field, was chosen health And medicine, among the winners of the program COMSTECH Research Grants For Young Women Researchers of 2025.

Dr. Bayhaqi said about her research achievements:

“We have produced products in the field Nanotechnology Designed to prevent disease Alzheimer’s And its treatment. These nutritional supplements were initially offered in the form of gum and candy, and were then produced in the form of syrup to facilitate their use for the elderly.”

She explained:

“This medication is based on Nanoparticles Natural ones such as “Fencol” and “Quercetin”. These compounds reduce or inhibit the activity of genes associated with Alzheimer’s disease, including APP and MAPT, preventing the production of harmful proteins such as beta-amyloid and tau, which play a role in destroying nerve cells.

The Iranian researcher added:

“In addition to its effectiveness in preventing disease Alzheimer’s And to treat it, this nutritional supplement is also effective in reducing inflammation, controlling blood sugar levels, strengthening the immune system, and preventing some types of cancer.”

She explained that in a clinical trial conducted on 30 patients with Alzheimer’s disease, a significant improvement in neurobehavior and sleep quality was observed. The results also showed a decrease in Hand tremor In Parkinson’s patients.
